A Corporate Design for a small village, Gundernhausen in Hessen.
The logo is a simple twist of a capital »G« as the initial of the village and a coat of arms. The aim was to modernize the appearance of Gundernhausen while maintaining elements of village life.
Pictograms derived from the form of the logo. In order to present the town in a rather playful way – also concerning storytelling – I composed six photo-booklets in three different colors each presenting interesting details of a certain theme (eg. people, vehicles, homes, plants).
Each booklet contains a diary-style introduction of my local encounters and happenings when shooting the photos and meeting local people.
The headline on each cover is written in local slang. (Bloanze: Plants, Laid: People, Haiser: Homes)
